Bioclear’s Core Posterior & Core Anterior combined course builds a strong foundation in the Bioclear Method and an understanding of Bioclear products. The focus of this course will be on direct restorative methods on adult dentition as an alternative procedure to porcelain crowns and veneers.
Doctors will learn the Five Pillars of the Bioclear Method, which are essential for long-lasting, minimally invasive, and predictable Bioclear restorations. Doctors gain confidence as they collaboratively practice all applications of the Bioclear Method during intensive hands-on exercises using lifelike soft tissue models that simulate posterior and anterior restorations.
Upon course completion you will receive 36 CE.
POSTERIOR: The posterior portion of this course introduces Bioclear Class II and “Calla Lily” cavity preparation designs, as well as engineering principles used in the design of new non-retentive compression-based preparations. This portion of the curriculum is during days one and two of the course.
ANTERIOR: The focus of the anterior portion of this course will be on adult dentitions as an alternative to porcelain crowns and porcelain veneers. This portion of the curriculum is during days three and four of the course.
Any changes to your course registration must be made a minimum of 45 days prior to the start date of the course. This includes cancellations and/or rescheduling. A written notice must be submitted to the Bioclear Learning Center Director via email at [email protected]. Cancellations made within the 45 days before the course start date are not eligible for a full refund or to be moved.
Learning Objectives
- Know and understand the Five Pillars of the Bioclear Method
- Practice injection-molding and performing restorations
- Evaluate and plan natural-looking multi-tooth restorations
- Apply engineering principles to replace old alloys and update preparations for new, non-retentive, compression-based preps
- Learn to perform “Calla Lily” preparations, Bioclear posterior overlays, and selective caries removal
- Understand how to treat cracked teeth
- Learn how to perform a quadrant strategy restoration using the Biocear Method
- Be able to (a) use composite restoration methods to mitigate tissue recession by naturally contouring the teeth, and to (b) protect the root by incorporating enamel coverage into the restoration
- Learn to injection mold and treat black triangle and peg laterals
- Understand and complete the reconstruction of a maxillary sextant
- Reconstruct fractured incisors and treat rotated teeth with “instant ortho”
- Smile design, tooth form, and arch form: what to look for and how to plan your procedures to achieve a pleasing appearance
