Dr. Luis Delima

Dr. Delima was born in Denver, CO and was raised in Venezuela. He obtained his dental degree at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2003 in Caracas, Venezuela. In 2009, he completed a fellowship in geriatric dentistry at the Oral Health Services Program from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. In 2012, he completed his residency in Prosthodontics at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He obtained his diplomate at the American Board of Prosthodontics in 2012.
He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the U of M School of Dentistry and serves as Director of the Division of Prosthodontics. He teaches the Removable Partial Dentures and Clinical Occlusion courses. In 2012, Dr. Delima began his private practice and in 2015, he purchased Dr. David Clay’s practice and established himself in the Metro area.
He is dedicated to making his patients happy while providing the highest quality of care. Dr. Delima embraces the value of continued education by frequently attending Scientific Sessions and as instructor for prosthodontic courses for his dental peers across the United States.
Se Habla Español! Dr. Delima’s native language is Spanish, and he can also communicate well in Portuguese. He always welcomes the opportunity to relate to his patients in their same language.
Luis lives in Edina, and when he is not in his office, he enjoys riding his mountain bike, playing golf and spending time with his wife, Dr. Carolina Rodriguez, and his lovely daughters, Nicole and Samantha.
