As your dentist, my goal is to help you establish optimal dental health and the confident, fantastic smile that you deserve!

My dental practice – Imagine Dentistry – is a small, specialized office focused on *you*. We provide personalized dental care, using innovation and education to make your smile amazing. My wonderful team and I will welcome you with warm smiles, and we will work diligently to create a comfortable, positive experience for you every time you visit our dental office.

I believe that Bioclear techniques are an amazing way to conservatively restore worn teeth, as well as restore and fill “black triangle” spaces near the gumline! It also works beautifully to improve the appearance of small/undersized teeth for adults and teenagers, especially when combined with orthodontic care first. The results speak for themselves, and patients are very happy to preserve more of their natural teeth, while still solving the dental problem at hand. I love being able to offer Bioclear restorations to my patients as an alternative to veneers or crowns. In multiple cases, it is the better option!

A little about me (Dr. Coambs)…. I have earned my Charlotte, NC “citizenship” after having lived here more than 20 years! However, I lived in many places growing up, including Milwaukee, London, Chicago, Omaha and Dallas. I graduated from Rice University, and then the University of Texas School of Dentistry – both in Houston, Texas. Then I came to Charlotte to complete my residency training at CMC Hospital (now Atrium Health). I fell in love with the Queen City during that year, and my husband and I decided to permanently relocate to North Carolina and put down roots here.

After working for other dentists, I opened my own dental office in 2012, in the Arboretum area of south Charlotte. A year later, I earned the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry – a.k.a. FAGD designation – signifying my commitment to continuing education. (Only 6% of general dentists have earned this honor!) I’ve also received a Charlotte Magazine Top Dentists Award every year since 2016, and a Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorites Award every year since 2019. Outside of the office, I enjoy kickboxing at 9Round, eating good food, hiking in the mountains, and spending time with friends. But most of all, I love spending time with my three wonderful sons, my husband, and my extended family. They are my joy!
