About Me

Hello future patient! Welcome and thank you very much for taking time to read about me. I truly enjoy practicing dentistry, running my dental office, being a mom to my amazing children, a wife, daughter, sister and friend.  Finding that life-work balance has been a welcomed challenge these past few years. I am beyond grateful for all the blessings I have been showered with in my personal and professional life. I am surrounded by an incredible team that I am proud to call my work family.

I completed my undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish at Eastern Kentucky University (Richmond, KY) where I graduated with high honors. I graduated from Dental School as well as Residency in General Dentistry at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry (Lexington, KY) with distinction. Training in Sedation Dentistry, implant placement and treatment of medically compromised patients, were among the highlights of my residency program. My training did not end after the dental residency. Each year I participate in numerous Continuing Education Courses to make certain I can offer my patients the most up-to-date dental procedures using the most effective methods and best materials available in our field. I earned a Fellowship status from the Academy of General Dentistry, FAGD.  I am fully credentialed and licensed to practice General Dentistry in the states of Virginia and Kentucky.  I am certified to Perform Chao PINHOLE® Surgical Technique to restore receding gums as well as BIOCLEAR technique to offer patients a more youthful smile.

I am a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Kentucky Dental Association and the Louisville Dental Association.

In my career as a dentist, I have had the opportunity to treat patients of all ages in a variety of dental settings – from hospital clinics, corporate practices, larger and smaller practices, to my latest position as a solo dentist. I’m grateful for the many experiences I have had, as each have helped to shape me into the clinician I am today. I have enjoyed the most working as a dentist in a small family dental practice.
