Dr. Shane Costa graduated from the University of Richmond and then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, cum laude, from the VCU School of Medicine. After dental school, he completed a one-year advanced education program in general dentistry at the Texas A&M School of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Costa has provided the DMV with top-notch dental care since 2004, and is honored to have been recognized as a Top Dentist in Virginia Living, Northern Virginia, and Washingtonian Magazines for the past ten years. He was also inducted in the Washingtonian Top Dentist’s Hall of Fame in 2024.
With a passion for education, Dr. Costa maintains his award-winning status by continuing to learn new skills and experimenting with new technology, Bioclear being one of his specialties.
Dr. Costa and his family are residents of Leesburg, Virginia. While he’s not in the office seeing patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Virginia, and their three wonderful children.
