Joshua Solomon – Faculty

Dr. Joshua Solomon, or “Dr. Josh” as he is known to his patients, is a second-generation pediatric dentist and has been in practice since 2003. One of his main practice philosophies is to provide boutique, individualized care for every patient.
He is a graduate of the University of the Pacific with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery). Following dental school, Dr. Josh completed an additional 2-year specialty residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas Dental Branch – Houston, located in the largest medical center in the world. He is a Diplomat of the American Board Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Additionally, he is a certified examiner for conscious sedation for the Dental Board of California.
Dr. Josh is often called upon by his medical and dental colleagues for second opinions regarding dental treatment for children, teens, and young adults. He values a team approach with a patient’s medical doctors, especially for children with special needs. He prides himself on always being available for emergencies for his patients or advice for parents.
Dr. Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and their 4 children as well as their dogs and rabbits.

When not treating patients in his office, Dr. Josh is an internationally recognized speaker and clinical instructor. He is an in-demand educator for modern and progressive restorative techniques using esthetic, tooth-colored fillings, and various other dental-related topics. He serves as faculty for the prestigious Bioclear Learning Center, he trains other dentists both in the United States and Canada via lecture and hands-on seminars. He has been invited to present to thousands of general and pediatric dentists in both the university and private practice settings.
In September of 2023, Dr. Solomon moved his practice into a new facility and opened the Dental Specialty Training Center (DSTC). DSTC was designed to provide small group, hands-on courses in advanced restorative techniques for pediatric dentists, dental photography, and practice management.
