This 10mm matrix is a more open matrix allowing easier access but is less anatomically adapted on facial and lingual.  The A104 is the best choice for lower incisors.  It can also be used upside down (tab facing the gingival) for restoring the incisal third when you need to “reach out” to close the incisal contact.  These teeth often have little or no curvature in the gingival half of the tooth, a problem unique to many lower incisors.
